Dr. Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz
Dr Faisal graduated in the prestigious King’s College London Dental Institute in 2014. Since That Time, He’s served at the National Dental Centre Singapore and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Throughout his time at the restructured hospital, he underwent clinical rotations from the sections of Advanced General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics and Geriatric and Special Need Dentistry. At Precisely the Same time, Dr Faisal also functioned as a dental administrator in the Ministry of Health, functioning under the Office of the Chief Dental Officer. His job scope was to assist the Chief Dental Officer to formulate dental related coverages for Singapore. Dr Faisal was in private practice.Dr Faisal has spent his time honing his skills in regular and innovative dental procedures like root canals, crowns, bridges, wisdom teeth whitening, dental implants, and orthodontics. He constantly strives to achieve clinical excellence for all his patients, and regularly attends workshops and lectures conducted by world experts to keep abreast with his dental understanding. Currently, he’s attending a detailed orthodontics course by the world-renowned orthodontist, Dr Derek Mahony.
Apart from clinical knowledge, Dr Faisal also adopts digital technologies in his clinical work to achieve consistent and quality clinical outcomes for his patients. He does so through the use of electronic intraoral scanners, digital photography, and cone beam CTs for the planning of complicated cases.
Dr Faisal has an especially strong interest in public health, in which he believes reducing dental disease expertise in a community plays an important role in the social mobility of an individual. Bearing this in mind, all of his treatments are tailored to the individual needs of the individual, with the objective of restoring confidence and function to be better able to climb the social ladder in society.
Dr Faisal is a fervent community activist, serving as the chairman for the Health and Wellness Committee in Kaki Bukit beneath the People’s Association. He also sits on the Programmes Advisory Committee for English Language (PACE) under the Info-communications Media Development Authority Singapore (IMDA). Dr Faisal is married with two children, and his hobbies include music and traveling.
